Black Friday Terms & Conditions

We hope you enjoy building your shoe rotation on Black Friday, but please remember that this is a crazy time of year for warehouse staff and courier companies. Please remember we're all human, and these are just discounts. Please take note of the following terms and conditions:

These Black Friday Terms and Conditions (“BF Terms”) apply to all Black Friday promotions, discounts, and sales (“Black Friday Offers”) run by AltraFootwear.co.za (“the Company”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By participating in any Black Friday Offer, customers (“you”, “your”) agree to be bound by these BF Terms, together with our standard Website Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, and Returns Policy.


1. Promotion Period

1.1 Black Friday Offers are valid only during the promotional period specified on the website or marketing materials.
1.2 All start and end times are governed by South African Standard Time (SAST).
1.3 Once the promotion period ends, no further discounts will be honoured, regardless of circumstances.


2. Limited Stock & Availability

2.1 All Black Friday Offers are strictly while stocks last.
2.2 Items in your cart are not reserved until checkout and payment are completed.
2.3 The Company does not guarantee availability of any product, size, or colour during the Black Friday period.


3. Pricing & Discounts

3.1 Black Friday pricing cannot be combined with any other promotions, voucher codes, coupons, or discounts unless expressly stated.
3.2 Prices may change without notice and are displayed in South African Rand (ZAR).
3.3 The discount applied will be clearly indicated on the product page or at checkout.

  • In the event of an error, we reserve the right to adjust our product prices without notice. This is unlikely, but we are human, and errors do occur. If this happens, the prices visible on social media and our newsletter may not reflect the prices on the online store. Please consider the online store price to be the correct price. 
  • In the unlikely event of a major error on our part, we reserve the right to refund in lieu of dispatching the order. If this happens, we will personally contact you and make arrangements to ensure your refund is initiated.  

4. Orders & Payment

4.1 Successful checkout and receipt of an order confirmation email constitutes a confirmed order, subject to payment verification.
4.2 If payment fails or is delayed, the Company may cancel the order without liability.
4.3 In the event of a technical or system error affecting pricing, the Company reserves the right to cancel or amend the order in accordance with South African consumer law.


5. Returns, Exchanges & Refunds

5.1 No refunds are available on Black Friday specials, unless under special circumstances. Please contact us if you require a refund. Size swaps are available, but are based on stock availability. As sizes often sell-out at Black Friday, if we do not have the size you require we will initiate a refund.

5.2 Returns must comply with our standard Returns Policy regarding timelines, condition, and packaging.
5.3 Refunds will be processed at the amount paid, not the pre-sale retail price.
5.4 If a free gift or promotional item was included, it must be returned unused and in original packaging.


6. Delivery & Shipping

6.1 Delivery timelines may be longer than usual due to high order volumes. In past experience, it can be up to 7 working days. Please be patient - all good things come to those who wait.
6.2 The Company is not liable for courier delays once the parcel has been dispatched.


7. Website Errors & Technical Issues

7.1 The Company is not responsible for any loss resulting from technical issues, including but not limited to:

  • Website downtime

  • Payment gateway issues

  • Cart errors

  • Misprints or incorrect product information

  • 7.2 We reserve the right to correct any errors and cancel affected orders with full refunds.


8. Fraud & Abuse

8.1 The Company reserves the right to cancel orders or restrict access to Black Friday Offers for any customer suspected of:

  • Fraudulent activity

  • Abuse of the promotion

  • Misuse of discount codes

  • Creating multiple accounts to bypass limits
    8.2 Such decisions are at the sole discretion of the Company.


9. Limitation of Liability

9.1 To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, the Company will not be liable for:

  • Any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages

  • Losses resulting from order delays or cancellations

  • Loss of opportunity due to sold-out products
    9.2 Our liability is strictly limited to the purchase price of the items in question.


10. POPIA Compliance

10.1 Personal information collected during Black Friday purchases will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and POPIA principles.
10.2 No customer data will be shared with third parties except where required for order fulfilment.


11. Amendments

11.1 The Company may update or modify these BF Terms at any time without prior notice.
11.2 Continued use of the website during the Black Friday period constitutes acceptance of any updated terms.


12. Governing Law

These BF Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of South African courts.

Whilst we will do our best to ensure that all orders ship out on time, please be patient with us. We are at the mercy of courier companies collecting & delivering on time and we cannot guarantee that they will. Our goal is to ensure all orders leave our warehouse within 2 working days from the date of your order.
